Perfections for Imperfections~

Now, this is my third week here in KTT. A college with two rows of shophouses! Not more than that~ A little unbelievable??? NO WAY!!! It's super dooper UNBELIEVABLE!!! Hmm, well, the first week here, I complained much about the limited facilities, food and environment here~ Everything seems so wrong to me, everything is just not right~ I even cried out in the middle conversation with my best friend, Chia lin on the phone.

But sooner and later, now I find myself enjoying the life here. Yup, though KTT here is small, 'ulu' and less known by people, but there are so much things here that I like so much ^^ As the phrase goes, 'Kecil-kecil cili padi'. The first day stepping into KTT, the pengarah said this to us. Using this phrase to describe KTT. Indeed, real small but produce out lots of world-class candidates.

The life here maybe stressed, dull and monotonous, but I believe if you know to manage your time well, then you'll find that the life here is interesting. SENIORS here are really helpful and are really willing to help their juniors till the end. A word to describe them, SUPERB!!! My bro's friend here, Yu Zeng really helped me out lots. Really thank him for giving me all the useful books for free and helping me with all the doubts i faced.

Besides, now I've 3 new housemates. The trio from Sarawak. Cool, huh? Now, I'm closer and closer to them. We totally break our ice out since the day we played TRUTH and DARE till nearly 3 a.m in the morning. Indeed, I can feel the warmth. Three of them are now part of my family. In fact, all KTTians are my big KTT family members ^_^

Ok, why would I say that the life here is interesting? Seriously telling, I'm really glad that there are Chinese Cultural Education Society (CCES) and Buddist Society (BS) here. Making yourself active in this two society will make your life in KTT a thrilling and fun one! I've attended all the activities till now and find out that this is a good way to make yourself happier here.

CCES is a good place for you to relax and release your stress after a tiring day of studying. U get to go crazy and make more friends and thus, open yourself more. Though I'm a banana, but I enjoyed lots. Last Friday, we were divided into three countries according to the history of China in the past. Now, I beloged to 'ZHAO GUO' and can u believe it? I'm the 'zai xiang', meaning not really sure though. I think its prime minister or secreatry gua. I was so blur when I'm elected cos my friend simply suggested me. So, we've performances to move on on the 30th of July and so on...

BS is a place where I really learn much. Everytime I stepped into BS activities, my heart is always calm and stable. Love this feeling much~ ^^ Thus, I decided to enrol myself as part of the volunteer group. Hope I'm not too late. I feel each time I go for BS activities, I learn to think more maturedly and rationally. Learning to control our emotions, anger and speaking so that we'll not harm others by our every deeds.

Many lessons that I've learn in this week. This is because both CCES and BS have invited a professor, Teacher Song to teach us a few lessons. Here, I've some to share with you all~

1. Love is being supportive and accepting the partner, not being possessive towards him/her~（爱是成就对方，而不是占有对方）
2. Do not count too much, cos sometimes loss brings happiness~ （吃亏是福）
3. Getting angry is taking others people fault to punish yourself~ （生气就是那别人的过错来惩罚自己）
4. A heart+ Accepting=LOVE　（心＋受＝爱）
5. TRUE LOVE = Let go and you will get more. let go of greed, anger and delusion, and thus, you will get more CLARITY OF MIND~
6. Love is not a desire~
7. If you love something, then set it free. If it comes bck, then it's yours. If it doesn't, then it never was~
8. Do not miss any chance in life for you are lucky to come to this world this once~
9. Sincere praise is imporant, don't be too cold for warmth is needed at times~
10. It is easy to dump someone, but do you know you scar them? Do you see the days and nights they cry? Be responsible to your relationships. Handle and appreciate them well~
11. You can get a very good spouse or partner of your life if you keep every girl/boy complete as they are before they belonged to the others.

These are few of the sayings and quotes from the professor which I find very meaningful. Making us awakened to a more rational and reality life~

• LOVE : a heart which will always support the other one with right-mindfullness.
• DESIRE : being possessive over physical, material and is destructive.

So, are u on LOVE or DESIRE? Haha XD

• THE LANGUAGE OF VIRTUE : good verbal conduct, no lying, abusive words, bearing tales and seductive words.

We must learn to speak :

1. LESS words of COMPLAINT and MORE of FORGIVENESS as complaints bring about HATRED while forgiveness is WISDOM.
2. LESS words of SARCASM and MORE of RESPECTFULNESS as sarcasm reveals DISPARAGEMENT while respectfulness increases UNDERSTANDING.
3. LESS words of HARM and more of THOUGHTFULNESS as harm causes CONTRADICTION while thoughtfulness develops FRIENDSHIPS.
4. LESS words of COMMAND and MORE of DISCUSSION as command FORCES acceptance while discussion is TRUE LEADERSIP.
5. LESS words of CRITICISM and MORE words of ENCOURAGEMENT as criticism creates BARRIERS while encouragement nurtures POTENTIAL.

All these I've learnt in just two meetings of CCES and BS. Really fun and open up my eyes and heart. Hope this would be a good sharing to u all~
