~Thanks for the Memories~

They lived happily ever after through understanding, caring and love. Through thick and thins, they will face with no fear, not scared of fading beauty, for their beauty always remain in their heart, not afraid of death, for their hearts have been together now, always and forever. But one day, disaster struck. The guy she loved with all her heart had gone missing. She searched days and nights. Without realising, a year had passed. At the moment she nearly gave up, she saw one man in a garden. It’s him! She ran towards him and hugged him, but that man pushed her away. Millions of unanswered questions were playing in her mind, not only her, him as well. Yes, he had indeed lost his memories. Their memories which were meant to be cherished were sealed forever. Why? She asked.

It started to rain, indicating her feeling at that moment. It seemed that God knew what's happening. However, she did not give up. She knew its him, by his eyesight, his hand and his everything. So, she decided to bring him back to the place where the disaster struck them a year ago. Located at the middle of the city, she could still remember. That day, it was their 3rd wedding anniversary. They celebrated happily together till a sudden blast took place. She could not remember much, but one thing she could never erase from her memory. She could remember and even felt the pain in virtually all parts of his body as he remained in agony. She couldn't bear to hear his breathing become more and more irregular. How if he saved himself instead of her? None of this would happen.....none.......

No one was on the road that time. She kept on shouting for help but it was all useless. Blood kept on oozing out non-stop from his head until the road was now partially flooded with his blood. She knew she needed to do something, or else she would lose him forever and ever. Thus, she ran as fast as she could to the nearest telephone booth to call for an ambulance. After making the call, she ran back to him but, he was no longer there. What she could see was just blood on the road.

Where could he go? There was no way he could walk in such condition, not by any chance. She searched high and low, here and there, but not even a soul could be found. Falling to the bloody ground, how she hoped he would be right there in front of her when she opened her eyes. A sudden tap brought her back to the garden. It wasn't him. It’s a young, long haired beautiful lady standing in front of her. Who was this? And why did her long lost husband holding a stranger's hand? What was happening and why did she has to face with this stark reality?

Seeing her face was pale, the young lady asked her to calm down and sit down at the bench. The young lady tried to ask what had happened. So, she poured out everything. Shocked to hear the news, tears began to roll down the young lady's cheek. Without knowing, she's engaged to a guy who's already ones husband. Now, both of them were in a dilemma. What they should do? Seeing their eyes in red, he also couldn't figure out what the problem was. One saved his life, while another was someone familiar but he couldn't remember.

Amidst of the drama going on around him, he felt a throbbing pain on his head. He couldn't stand this anymore. Who should he believe, who? The world seemed to spin around him. He got dizzier until he slumped into unconsciousness. When he regained his consciousness, he finally remembered his wife. Looking at the young lady, he felt sorry and say, "I like you, but like can be to many people. Love is only for one." The young lady was touched for she was not engaged to a wrong guy for he was such loyal guy. Letting go maybe hard, but she decided to do so for she realised the true love between both of them. She left the room, wiping her tears off. In the room, you could hear, "I love you."
